I was rummaging through the notebook I had when I was in middle school, where I would sometimes write down my random thoughts. Why I suddenly liked Rebecca out of nowhere (hey puberty - I remember the exact day I woke up and thought girls were suddenly attractive... 5th grade 2nd day of school), how my best friend and I were going to take our mountain bikes and bike across the city in 6th grade (how I thought 15 miles was ALOT back then).. noticed a few entries on adulthood. I remember, as a little shithead teenager, I had little responsibility when it came being independent, cleaning things up, getting good grades, and I wrote that "going to college" seemed nearly impossible. getting the good grades, getting in, graduation. I remember admiring my parents for having this crazy nice house, for getting jobs in the health field to afford it. I remember being TERRIFIED if things in life - of being on my own, of venturing off into the real world (this would be near the end of of high school), and stupid things like public speaking/etc.
